These are capacity controlled awards so it is smart to book a stay ASAP as hotels can book up and are pulled off PointBreaks Award list at anytime. PointBreaks are award nights at selected hotels for 5,000 points. This is one of the best values in hotel loyalty program awards.
A Pointbreaks hotel is such a value that this redemption is one of the few where buying points might make sense if you don’t already have enough, assuming that one of the listed hotels works for you. Using points plus cash to accumulate points, it will cost $35 out-of-pocket for the 5,000 points you need for a free night. I think most anyone would be happy to pay $35 for these hotels.
